Mission
Afrifund will support community-driven social change via the innovative use of smartphone technology to create sustainable development which is authored, advocated & funded by those who envisage a brighter future.
To support this mission I directed the production of the video below.
Defining the experience
My process begins with requirements gathering where I deep dive into the problem space and look for products which solve similar issues. Once that is done I create personas to help guide the design of the user journeys and begin to create the information architecture.
User journies
With the research completed, IA in place and early sketches of the user interface done I then began to create wireframes which also incorporate the logic required to navigate between different parts of the user journey.
Prototype and user test
With the 1st iteration of the experience complete, it was time to begin working on the visual requirements and creating a prototype so it would be possible to get valuable feedback and begin the 2nd iteration.
