As a co-founder and design director, it was my responsibility to define the brand image, produce all materials needed to communicate to investors and stakeholders and specify the user experience across both the web and mobile channels.

Brand creation
"Save every time you sendit" is the slogan I crafted for sendit.money and its personality has been tuned to be professional and familiar. Like the colleague you know you can turn to for help. These attributes are accompanied by a font, colour scheme and logo which complement the clarity, warmth and strength which we know Africa embodies.
Mobile experience
Having completed in-depth research of the behaviour patterns used by our competitors I created detailed flows which included both the logic of a given user journey and the full resolution designs for each of the screens. Following this, I worked alongside the CTO to prioritise journeys within an Agile framework and then supported the developers as they worked through individual tickets.
User testing
User testing was done iteratively with closed groups across both app stores. From the beginning the sendit.money team was writing code, testing internally and with external stakeholders. The speed we could move from sketch to design to code to user testing was possible due to the agile process the CTO used and the specifications I created.
